The Last Push

I’ve finally made it down to the last week of school. This semester has felt both extremely long, and also has gone by extremely fast.

By the end of this week I will have finished a full year of online school.

I can remember back to last summer being so excited to go into my 2nd year and I can now look at this school year and consider it a success.

This week I do still have quite a bit of work to do for each class, but mostly I am done with all of my lectures for class.

Finals Vs. Final Project

Being an architecture student, we do not have a typical schedule of just final exams like other majors would.

I am taking 6 classes and 4 of them have final projects that I have due throughout the week.

The other 2 classes I will be having a final exam for.

My preference definitely lies on a final project. I enjoy working with models, designing, and everything within that realm. That is why I am studying architecture.

What Next?

Well, another school year has past. I’ve just about completed two years of college and wow has it gone by fast.

I will be having a couple weeks break from school work before I go into my internship this summer at Quinn Evans.

It will be virtual and could potentially have in person components. It is in their Richmond, VA office so if I were to do site visits or anything of the sort I would need to stay there a couple of days at a time.

After my internship, I will be heading back to Blacksburg mid-August to start the next school year in person!

Thanks for tuning into this week’s blog post, I hope you enjoyed it! If you have any questions or comments let me know. As always, Dream Big!
