School
Happy new year’s to everyone!
I wanted to start off this year by thinking about what all is planned to happen.
Firstly and most important, is architecture school. I will be finishing up my second year of architecture and starting my third year.

This past fall I set out to teach myself more software skills and I succeeded. Now I feel very comfortable designing in a variety of ways.
This spring semester I will be further develop my understanding through more complex topics, advanced technologies and fabrication methods.

I am always looking to build on the knowledge base that have so that I can expand my range of possibilities in the industry and learn what I enjoy most.
Internship
Something I am surely looking forward to is my summer internship this year.
This past year, I suffered an injury that prevented me from doing heavy lifting, while COVID-19 kept me from just going into the office building. So I was not able to partake in my internship.

Although that has been an upsetting turn of events, my internship has been extended to 2021 so I can still do the same thing.
I am surely looking forward to learning as much as possible this summer as I complete my summer internship gaining experience in the construction field.

Personal Projects
Often times throughout the year, I will have extra time to try new things completely on my own. This year I am starting off by designing my own desk. since online school has turned my room into my permanent workspace all day, I want to optimize it to fit my daily needs.
I have thought about things like cable management, future arrangements, and organization to name a few.

I will be looking to make a video about the process of making this desk as I move forward through my project.
In the summer I will have a good amount of free time as well so I will surely look to start another project as well.
Thanks for tuning into this week’s blog post, I hope you’ve enjoyed it. Let me know if you have any questions or comments. As always, Dream Big
